ÇAMLIGÖZE HEPP

Çamlıgöze Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant was built on Kelkit Stream, 140 km from Sivas province and 12 km from Suşehri district. It has a total installed power of 32 MW with 2 generators, each of which is 16 MW, and its annual generation capacity is foreseen as 102 million kWh.

The construction of Çamlıgöze Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant, located in the Yeşilırmak Basin, was started in 1987, and its construction was completed in 2000 and production started. The dam, which was built in clay core rock fill type, has a crest length of 360 m and a body height of 32 m. At the maximum water level, the lake volume is 54.7 hm³ and the lake area is 5 km².
