TEKIRDAG NATURAL GAS COMBINED CYCLE A POWER PLANT

The facility is located in Marmara Ereğli district of Tekirdağ province.

The facility was built as a Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant and has the capacity to deliver approximately 480 MW of power. The plant is designed to operate with 52% efficiency for base load operation. The total nominal installed power of the power plant (2+1 configuration), which consists of 2 Gas Turbines and 1 Steam Turbine, is 480 MW, and the output power can go up to 500 MW in winter and decrease up to 420 MW in summer, depending on climatic conditions. The power plant, which has an annual average production capacity of 3.9 billion kWh, started commercial production in June 1999 and its agreement would expire in 2019. The power plant was transferred to our Company on 5 June 2019 and has been operated by our organization since this date.
